Fashion Look-Book
Having a love for Fashion illustration since being a child, this project was immensely fun and passionate to work on.
I combined my skills of illustration, Graphic design and collage to create this beautiful atmospheric look-book that explores a variety of styles and themes.

This was one of the last projects i created in my 3rd year of university. The objective of this project was to create a body of work. Most of the illustrated models in this book are 10-15 minute sketches that I digitalised and coloured. After not having drawn in a really long time, as I had focused other projects on graphic design or video work, this practice was extremely refreshing and felt as if I was coming back to my roots as an illustrator.
This project really brought me closer to my practice and reminded me of why I am an artist.
I am very happy with the way my final book turned out. I was able to demonstrate my love for fashion illustration as well as my love for collage and graphic design.

There are a range of themes in this book, so to keep the book reading smoothly, I used filler pages with primary photographs and typography. Alongside that, I tried to ensure that the colours and atmospheres of each spread blended nicely with the next one.

The only reflection I have on this project is that I wish I had more time to curate and finalise each model - adding colour and refining the linework. I know that this would have elevated my project a lot. But I will for sure create new look books in the future as personal projects, as this was so fun to make.
