This vibrant, psychedelic project depicts my interpretation of human connection.

Through feelings, emotions, spirituality and senses.

 

Each piece can stand on its own, but come together to form a vibrant array of  illustrations.

 

I wanted the blurriness and saturated colours of the pieces to give the illusion of an aura.

Although at this stage of my education i had not learnt how to use Photoshop or Illustrator, I created all of this in procreate. It definitely sparked a love for graphic design and a more editorial way of working.

This project helped me learn a lot about how colours interact together and how I can use that to my advantage to create a certain atmosphere and feeling. My tutors agreed that I have a talent in setting an atmosphere in my work.  This motivated me and pushed me to really explore and work with colours in future projects.
